Dakota Gold™ Silica Sand

Dakota Gold™ sand is made up of sub round shaped silica sand that is always quarried from the same source to ensure consistency and performance. The sand is mined and then processed in our Elgin, ND plant. Dakota Gold™ is an environmentally friendly product with silica content that makes the sand hard and resistant to weathering and freeze-thaw conditions. Because of it's durability, Dakota Gold™ silica sand is highly versatile. Find out more below!

  From Our Customers...
I selected Abrasives' sand because of the specifications that we desired to use and their willingness to produce that spec. We wanted sand that had great playing characteristics, a bright color contrast, as well as something that could be used for topdressing greens. We use the same sand for all our sand needs. The greens hold a shot well, they drain well, they withstand compaction, and they roll true, smooth and fast. We constantly hear how much players think the greens are great. We also hear from them that they love the playability of our bunker sand.
